Preparing PowerPoint Presentations for WebCT

PowerPoint presentations are often very large files that take a long time to download over a modem (phone dialup) connection. By preparing PowerPoint for the Web, you reduce the file size and the download time. Publishing the PowerPoint presentation converts it to an .htm file so that students only need a browser (Internet Explorer, Netscape, Firefox, Opera, for example) to view the presentation. No PowerPoint software is needed.

NOTE: The PowerPoint file name must not contain any spaces or special characters.
